The Music Studio of Emily DiAngelo

Oboe | Clarinet | Piano

Emily DiAngelo teaches private music lessons in the Ithaca, Syracuse, and Binghamton areas of upstate New York.  She has been teaching private music lessons for over 10 years, and tailors individualized instruction to each of her students based on their interests and needs.  She teaches students as young as 3 years old to students entering their golden years, and believes that anyone can learn an instrument at any time in their life!

Students that study with Emily have the opportunity to perform in two recitals per year: a Winter Recital, and a Spring Recital in preparation for the NYSSMA Festival.

Emily incorporates music history, music theory, composition, and exceptional listening skills into each of her instrumental lessons.  She is well versed in teaching beginner piano to students in pre-school and elementary school using the Faber Method, a fun and engaging educational tool which uses songs and games to promote and enhance learning.
